The Master's Degree in Trade and International Economic Relations is designed for:
University graduates, both recent and with work experience - who are interested in boosting their professional career to an executive or managerial position at an international level.
We are looking for people who want to have a learning experience that will train them for leadership and management in the field of global business and foreign trade.
Degree programs
Upon completion of the Master's program, students will receive a Master's Degree in Trade and International Economic Relations by Universidad Europea de Madrid, and recognized by IEDE Business School.
Certification of accredited graduate degrees is a prerequisite for European convergence in higher education (European Higher Education Area).
Unique Characteristics
- This is the first Master's Degree in Trade and International Economic Relations in Spain. The offer of accredited graduate degrees is a basic requirement in the process of adaptation to the European Higher Education Area.
- It includes the "Invictus" professional module, which develops managerial skills including simulation of decision-making processes. The module is organized and taught by MAKEATEAM.
- International / Institutional stay of 2 weeks in BCE (Frankfurt), OMC (Geneva), the European Parliament (Strasbourg) and the European Commission (Brussels - Luxembourg).
- It has the backing of two leading strategic allies: The insurance company "Crédito a la Exportación" and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
- It allows the student to gain mastery of tools in risk assessment and management of international operations, which is fundamental in acquiring a strategic global vision of markets.
- Its focus and methodology are greatly hands-on and participatory, including: solving real business cases, conducting fieldwork, and carrying out research and development projects that allow students to make decisions and evaluate their impact.
- It includes sessions conducted in English in order to improve the business profile of students and their international projection.
- It includes an internship module with a choice of prestigious multinational companies.
- The scientific specialization within the Master's program includes research credits that allow direct access to the PhD dissertation stage in Economics and Business.

- Visits to companies and other organizations of interest.
- Discussion groups with business leaders and leaders of corporate opinion.
- It can be integrated into the 400 hour (four month) China Business Expert module taught in English at the University of Tongji (Shanghai), one of the most prestigious schools in China. This provides an opportunity to study a management program specialized in the Asian market, which includes visits to companies and business centers and Mandarin language classes.
- It is unique because it allows students to demonstrate their mastery in analysis of geo-economic areas of the world, including developed and emerging countries (US and Canada, the old and new Europe, Japan and neighboring countries, Russia, Brazil, India, China, Latin America, Africa, etc.).
