Banco Santander Scholarships for the Spring Master’s Degrees at the IEDE Business School

Thanks to the collaboration of Banco Santander, and in order to facilitate and promote higher education, the IEDE Business School is offering scholarships amounting to 12,000 euros in the following courses for its spring 2009 programmes: International MBA Madrid-Shanghai-California, Master’s Degree in Business Management (official MBA programme) and Master’s Degree in Marketing and Communication. International MBA
A multi-campus one year Master’s degree with 1,100 class hours. These courses are taught entirely in English at the IEDE Madrid and Shanghai campuses, with an additional 4 months of study at the University of California, Irvine. They are directed at professionals seeking international experience in different countries, as well as a multicultural education.
The International MBA introduces the student to three different cultures: European, Asian and American. Furthermore, it also includes the option to undertake 3 months of work experience in the USA and enables the student to enjoy authentic international work experience.
Banco Santander provides two scholarships for this Master’s degree, each valued at 3,000 euros.

Official Master in Business Administration
This official MBA trains the student in new Business Management and managerial trends, providing him or her with the skills required to work in multicultural business environments. It includes a 200-hour Business English programme and a specific module on managerial skills designed to teach how to participate in any business meeting and/or international business project.
The programme consists of 1,000 hours and comprises five broad subjects: general management, financial management and control, management of operations and technology, marketing and commercial management, and human resources management.
Banco Santander provides one scholarship for this Master’s degree at value of 3,000 euros.

Official Master’s Degree in Marketing and Communication
A Master’s degree directed at young people who seek to develop the skills necessary to enhance and further their professional career in the world of marketing and communication within domestic and international business environments.
Future commercial and marketing managers are trained to enable them to successfully develop and manage a comprehensive Marketing Plan and to contribute to the identification of business opportunities for the company. The teaching staff consists of professors with experience in top management.
The timetable for the classes allows them to be combined with professional and management activities.
Banco Santander provides one scholarship for this Master’s degree valued at 3,000 euros.
