Research, creativity and innovation: Tools for succesfully overcoming the challenges faced by the crisis
In a European business environment, innovation is an essential requirement and a key factor for successfully negotiating these times of crisis and low competitiveness
We have seen that governments are implementing measures to counteract the consequences of this crisis, many of which are focused on changes to the financial system. However, as businessmen and executives, it is our responsibility to make innovation a way of transforming companies into entities capable of influencing their surroundings and the market in response to the crisis and global changes to competitiveness. The role played by companies is absolutely fundamental. They continue to be the engine driving social progress due to the capacity they have to generate economic growth, new markets, to create jobs and to provide focus for the new economic paradigm based on people and their talent.
In a globalised economy where technology has transformed the world, innovation, in the broadest sense of the word (technological, organisational, commercial, etc.), has been considered a key factor for the competitiveness of companies. In fact, the special meeting of the European Council held in Lisbon in 2000 established one of the priority objectives as converting Europe into one of the most competitive and dynamic economies in the world. The so-called Lisbon Strategy set a period of ten years to achieve this target.
Can it be achieved while in the midst of this crisis?
During this seminar, you will be guided by a series of experts and shown how to treat R&D+i management as a systematic process that responds to the competitive needs of companies in times of crisis.
