International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards by Deloitte

Next Thursday, 12 March, the IEDE Business School will be hosting one of the Deloitte Seminars on International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards at its la Moraleja campus.

Graduate students and final year students from all the universities within the Autonomous Community of Madrid will take part in this intensive program. A strict selection process was employed by Deloitte to gather together the best candidates interested in the world of finance and offer them the opportunity to participate in an innovative program that provides significant added value to their CV in these times. Furthermore, participants have the option to be directly assessed by this important company, which is one of the Big Four (the largest Consultancy and Audit Firms in the world) and offers an attractive professional career in the world of business.

The course on the new IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards for all the large publicly-listed groups and the basic standards for the new Spanish 2008 GAP) is a bilingual study option that adopts a Blended approach. The online sessions are provided using the technological resources and e-learning platform employed by Deloitte to offer training to its professionals, irrespective of the country in which they work around the world. The classroom sessions are provided so that students can debate the subject matter with expert professionals in the field.

The IEDE Business School and the Universidad Europea de Madrid collaborate and participate in this activity every year. This year, students from the MBA in Business Management, the Master’s Degree in Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations and other programs have been selected from among the Degree Courses in Business Administration at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
