How to reduce the risk of default using support tools

We again invite you to a lecture that is scheduled to take place at 18:30 hours on Thursday 16 April at the IEDE headquarters on the La Moraleja Campus, Avenida de Bruselas 14. Exit 16 from the A-1 motorway (La Moraleja metro station).

Late payment risks are clearly greater in an environment of domestic and international crisis, but there is a range of tools available to help us minimise these risks. information is therefore a vital necessity and an essential factor for successful corporate management.

In terms of the impact felt by the credit crisis within the European market, Spain is among the worst affected countries. At the moment, there is a large outstanding debt of unpaid commercial paper. This debt would be multiplied if we were to consider all those transactions in which financial entities are not involved.

We must therefore anticipate and prepare ourselves for possible adverse situations; “the most effective technique to prevent non-payment is to be fully aware at all times of the risk associated with each one of the commercial operations we undertake”.
What can be done? What tools exist to do this? Are they difficult to use?

These questions and many more will form the groundwork for this lead-club based on the need to be aware of the situation of client’s equity before initiating operations with them and to receive information regarding their history in terms of payments. The more we know about a client, the lower the risk will be of making a mistake and the greater our capacity to define strategies to cover such risks.

We have organised this lecture to provide information on how to manage available sources of information as a systematic process to minimise the risk of default on payments and how to tackle the current economic climate with a guarantee of success.
