CONGREUEM 09

The 5th edition of CONGREUEM is scheduled to take place on the 21st of May at the Hotel Meliá Castilla:

CONGREUEM, the event organised by the students of the Master’s Degree in Event Tourism, Convention and PCO Company Management, has already become a classic event on the business tourism calendar in Madrid and will, this year, benefit from the attendance by the Spanish Secretary of State for Sport, Mr Jaime Lissavetzky, together with the CEO for the Madrid 2016 Committee, Mercedes Coghen, and two-time Olympic medallist, Gervasio Deffer.

CONGREUEM 09 is an event aimed at professionals within the tourism, sport and communications sector, students and the general public. The event also has a charitable purpose since the entire sum collected from the admission fee will be donated to the TAMBIÉN Foundation, which supports the integration of people with disability through sport.

The conference will be focused on several key topics: the Madrid 2016 candidature, the sports event market, the volunteer corps, sustainability, accessibility and mobility within the city and other socio-economic aspects that make Madrid a cultural crossroads and a strong candidate for the 2016 Olympic Games.
