Mónica Cagnetta; graduate of the OPC Master, class of 2007-2008, is named Sales Director for the Convention Center of Ávila.

Former student of the Master's Degree in Event Management for Tourism at Universidad Europea de Madrid, Mónica Cagnetta (of Italian origin) has been named, as of the 13th of July, as Sales Director of the recently inaugurated Convention Center of Ávila. Once again demonstrating the strong pull inland destinations have when it comes to meetings and events tourism.

Here Mónica continues her meteoric rise after having held positions in event planning companies such as the convention organizing companies Unicongress, Grupo Pacífico or PAP Congresos.

To Mónica being named for this position we also add the recent naming of Jonatan Gómez Punzón as the Vice President of the Iberian chapter of IAHMP (International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals) –an international organization that gathers the interests of events organizers at a global level. Jonatan got his Master in the class of 2004-2005. He is currently the owner and General Director of the company Invent Meetings and is also Managing Director of the Ciudad Real Convention Bureau.
