The Business Association OPC Madrid-Central and UEM renew their collaboration in the area of training for events planning

The renewal of this agreement will enable Universidad Europea de Madrid to continue its progress in the area of education for the events planning and organization industry. With the support of the professional sector in what will now be the eighth edition of the Master's Degree in Event Management for Tourism, which will, for the first time, be officially recognised, thanks to its complete adaptation to the new standards set out in the EHEA (European Higher Education Area).

This Degree Program, given at IEDE Business School of Universidad Europea de Madrid, La Moraleja Campus, will serve as an example of practical education thoroughly adapted to the current needs of the professional market. Students of this 8th edition of the Masters will work (guided by experts and professionals in the sector), on the organization of the 6th edition of CONGREUEM, the annual meeting of business tourism of UEM. Students will develop diverse projects such as the presentation of candidates for international conventions, the organization and implementation of the reception for students from the German University BITS in what will be the Events Exchange Week Diploma, or the preparation (under the guiding eye of personnel from the consulting firm Cuatropi) of an accessibility manual for meetings.

The close collaboration of OPC Madrid in the teaching of this Masters forms one of the basic pillars of this Degree Program in that OPC Madrid brings an authentic market oriented point of view to the classes, in addition to the professors –experts in the field, a wide array of professional and logistical support in the tailoring of this academic program will be provided.
