The raison d'être of an Business School is to develop future business leaders. From IEDE's perspective, the success of a Career Service Department means a threefold success. IEDE students are looking for a program that will assure them with challenging professional opportunities after graduation. Having IEDE students as a reference point in important companies is an honour for the school which adds prestige to our reputation. And companies who have hired IEDE students come back for more. WIN-WIN-WIN.

There are currently 350 first class companies registered in the Career Services Department who have posted a job in the last year. Another important fact is that a high percentage of jobs offer come from IEDE Alumni. There are over 2.350 IEDE alumni active in companies today.

The Career Services Department is composed of professionals with a broad experience in Human Resource Management positions, HR consulting positions as well as recruitment and outplacement positions.

Our mission is to assist our students in their career development. We recognize that although career development is ultimately the responsibility of the professional, the Career Services Department exists to accompany our students in their career opportunity search.

Our principal functions are:

• Personalized assessment of the student's personal as well as professional profile. Evaluation and recommendation regarding career potential.
  
  
• Elaboration of a Curriculum Vitae, registration of the CV in our database.
  
  
• Management of job opportunities received by the department, contact with candidates who fit the job description.
  
  
• Orientation a regarding recruitment and selection processes, support in "personal marketing" and interviewing skills.
  
  
• Access to the Global Career Center, Laureate International Universities' International Employment Platform.
  
  
• Access to IEDE's Alumni Association to generate networking opportunities as well as facilitate continuous learning experiences through the school.
