Our teaching method
At IEDE, we are less concerned with how much knowledge the student can accumulate,
but rather with teaching them how to think. We help the student discover things
for themselves, solve problems and make decisions in real business situations.
| Our method is based on:
- Respect for the student through efficient use of his time.
- Respect for his motivation through a stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Respect for his individuality by working in small groups.
- Respect for his aspirations with demanding criteria that enable him to exceed his expectations.
- Respect for his personal characteristics within the rigorous selection processes, paying close attention to the coherence and balance of the groups.
- Respect for his efforts through a process of continuous assessment and feedback individually tailored to the needs of each student.
- Respect for what makes him different in an atmosphere of different views, academic profiles and professional experience in order to expose each student to new and broader perspectives.
- Respect for his freedom of thought as the best medium through which reality can be seen from every angle and creativity can emerge.
- Respect for his human potential through confronting most of the complex situations that can arise from interaction with others in a business environment.
- Respect for his dreams, developing his business acumen by tackling real business projects and encouraging a positive attitude towards risk.

The Goal
Learning to learn.
We want the student to learn how to learn with the tools and skills that enable
him to convert knowledge into experience. We want to develop his ability to comprehend
and absorb new knowledge and predict what is still to come.
All of this requires knowledge and experience to complement each other in order
to guarantee a rich and long-lasting professional life.
The Medium
The new way in management education.
A combination of resources and a variety of media makes the IEDE teaching method unique.
Every aspect is carefully studied and given consistency to achieve the learning goals of the programme. This, together with the
development of the students' skills, combine to complete the technical and human training for the difficult daily task of management.
