IEDE is the Business School of the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM). Both academic institutions are part of the Laureate International Universities network, global leader in higher education, with 28 universities and schools in 17 countries worldwide.
The advantage of our relationship with the UEM is that it allows us to keep our identity and experience in directorial training, and to share and take advantage of the synergies of both institutions to provide a training of the highest quality adapted to changes in the business world.
At present, both institutions are launching R & D projects which address the problems which affect businesses, and help us to contribute to scientific progress with intellectual rigor and the best possible instruments.
Our mission is to offer the training par excelence, with a solid development of all-round skills, to people who consider learning to be the best investment for their future. In order to fulfil our mission, we provide the best resources, and commit ourselves to achieving it, promoting among our students the improvement of international competitiveness of businesses and the economy.
Our experience in directorial training and especially our international orientation, with programs in our Madrid, Shanghai and Santiago de Chile campuses, has consolidated the exterior visibility of IEDE, with programs in other countries in collaboration with the best foreign institutions.
From the beginning, we have brought the Business World closer, and we’ve supported businesses with programs adapted to a changing society which base their success on knowledge, internationality and technology, with innovative solutions.
Our most important tangible resources are the professors, directors and other professionals who share, particularly in the classroom as well as in other activities, their directorial expertise and knowledge to successfully co-develop this activity.
Our most valuable assets are our students, the result of what we do, a brilliant professional career achieved through directive training by means of the IEDE methodology that, combined with a personalized approach to learning and professional experience, is the key to our success.
I do not want to leave out an essential part of our vision which we develop in all our programs: the importance of creating entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs are those who create their own businesses, but are also people who come up with an idea within the company in which they work, national or multinational, big or small, and are able to put it into practice. They are able to convince, to demonstrate, to plan, to organize, to motivate, think of others, and share the fruits of their labour, and afterwards, to learn and keep on learning. That’s why we promote talent in the classroom to ensure that our protégés feel a responsibility to bring this entrepreneurial spirit to society in everything that they do, always working in and for a team, in order to reach their professional goals.
