Dominated by the majesty of the Andean mountain range, which can
be seen from anywhere in the city, Santiago has a privileged geographic location.
It is one of the few capitals in the world with close access to skiing (50 km)
and to beaches (100km). In fact is easy to visit both in the same day.
Outside Santiago, there are many villages that invite you to relax and enjoy
of the peaceful country life or to visit their vineyards and taste their fabulous
wines.
Santiago is a modern, cosmopolitan and dynamic city, with recent constructions
and high towers where growth and development of the last few years has transformed
the amenities for visitors and residents. About ten universities in the metropolitan
area make Santiago a perfect place for students because of the environment and
the great employment prospects.
Chile has enjoyed unrivalled economic growth and represents a model society of liberties and guarantees in the Latin American economic and business field. It enjoys a consistent flow of inward capital investment and Spain is today the largest investor in the country.
